ABOUT US

Project UP is a student-led organisation founded in October 2022 by Theresa Oghenetejiri and Osayi Orumwense to address the imbalance in opportunities for students across the UK. Recognising that many opportunities were concentrated in the capital, they launched the initiative to support students in underserved regions. Initially starting with 25 sixth form students, Project UP has grown to serve over 400 students, with more joining regularly.

The organisation has helped students secure opportunities with prestigious companies such as Clifford Chance, PwC, the London Stock Exchange, Allen & Overy, and more. Committed to providing students with the resources, mentorship, and connections they need to succeed, ProjectUP is expanding in September 2024 to support first-year law students, particularly those outside Russell Group universities, continuing its mission of equalising access to opportunities.
