Hi there! 👋 Welcome to ProjectUP! We’re thrilled you’re here because this isn’t just any initiative—it’s a movement. A movement to ensure every student, no matter where they’re from, gets the chance to shine.

Let’s rewind to October 2022. Two students, Theresa Oghenetejiri Enemua and Osayi Orumwense, saw a problem. Too many talented students were missing out on life-changing opportunities simply because they weren’t in the “right” place or school. So, they decided to do something about it—and ProjectUP was born. What started with just 25 sixth-form students has now grown into a thriving community of over 400 young go-getters. And guess what? We’re only just getting started.

So, What Exactly Is ProjectUP?

Glad you asked! Simply put, we’re here to help students find their path to success. Think of us as your friendly neighbourhood guide to navigating the maze of internships, work experience, and career opportunities.

Here’s how we do it:

1. **We Point You in the Right Direction** 🚦
There’s no one-size-fits-all roadmap to success. That’s why we connect students with the right resources, programmes, and events that align with their goals. Whether it’s an application to a top firm or a niche opportunity, we’ve got your back.

2. **We Offer Informal Mentoring** 💬
Need a bit of advice or someone to chat with about your next big move? Our informal mentoring system lets you request guidance from experienced peers who’ve been in your shoes.

3. **We Organise Workshops—If You Want Them** 🎤
Don’t love boring, cookie-cutter workshops? Neither do we. That’s why we only organise them if you tell us it’s something you’d like to see.

Our Impact (AKA Why We’re So Proud 🥹)

Thanks to ProjectUP, students have landed amazing opportunities with big names like:

- London Stock Exchange

- Allen & Overy

We don’t partner with these companies (yet… maybe someday 😉), but we’re pros at pointing students in their direction and saying, “This is for YOU!”

We’ve already expanded to include first-year law students—especially those at non-Russell Group universities. Because talent isn’t limited to a postcode or a school ranking.
